1. Book

How am I able to see the available camping pitches?

Via the ‘search and book’ button on our website you are able to see the available pitches in a certain period (https://www.kleinewolf.nl/en/search-and-book). Enter the period of your stay and click on ‘book via map’. The available camping pitches will be marked with green on the map.

I have a reservation at Campsite de Kleine Wolf. How do I pay the holiday?

After booking your holiday you will receive a confirmation. In this confirmation are the total costs of the holiday and the payment terms written. The first payment term is 3 weeks after te reservation has been made and the second payment is 4 weeks before arrival. After exceeding of the payment terms you will receive a reminder. Did you forget to pay? Please contact the reception desk as soon as possible.

Is it possible to take an option for a camping pitch or accommodation?

Yes this is possible! Your are able to put an option for a maximum of 7 days for a pitch or accommodation. After taking a booking option you will receive an option confirmation from us with an expiration date. You must contact us before the expiration date to let us know if your option can be made final or canceled. Even we need to cancel your booking, we would like to hear this. If you would like to make an option booking online, you need to write this in the comments of the booking. Within a few working days you will receive the option confirmation by e-mail.

Which camping fields are ideally suitable for families with young children?

Almost all of our camping fields include playgrounds for children, which mean you can keep an eye on your playing children all time. The camping fields Fazant, Specht and Arend are car-free. Only on arrival and departure are cars allowed on these fields. This is one of the reasons we recommend these fields for families with younger children. .

2. Book camping

Do you have seasonal pitches available?

No, we do not currently have annual or seasonal pitches available.

I have reserved a camping pitch, but have not receive a confirmation yet. What do I have to do?

I have reserved a camping pitch; what is the check-in time at the campsite?

The check-in time is from 1:30 p.m. for all the camping pitches. Please note the opening hours of the reception. If you arrive after opening hours, please let us know by phone or e-mail.

I have reserved a camping pitch; what is the check-out time at the day of departure?

Check-out is for all the camping pitches 11:00 a.m. If you have booked a late check out, is the check-out time before 6 p.m.

It is our departure day and we need to check out before 11:00 a.m. Is it possible to depart later than 11:00 a.m.?

In the early and late season it is possible to depart later, if the camping pitch is still available. You can inform about the availability at our reception desk. The costs for a late check-out are €12,50. With a late check-out you can depart till 6:00 p.m. and you can use the facilities for all day long. It is not possible to use the facilities in the high season if the camping pitch is not available after your stay.

Which discount cards do you accept and when are they valid?

We accept the Best Deal Card and Europe Camping Key Card. These discount card are valid in 2021 in the following periods:

  • 26 March – 1 Apri
  • 6 April – 24 April
  • 8 May – 12 May
  • 17 May – 21 May
  • 25 May – 2 June
  • 7 June – 10 July
  • 28 August – 20 September
  • 20 September – 8 October (only in the weekends)
  • 8 October – 16 October

3. Book accommodations

I have reserved an accommodation, but have not receive a confirmation yet. What do I have to do?

I have reserved an accommodation; what are the check-in and check-out times?

For the accommodation Outdoor Living Lodges, Oehoelodges, Zwaluwlodges, Kasteel de Wolvenburcht, Boerderij de Kleine Wolf and de Bungalows are the times as follow:

  • Arrival after 3:00 p.m.
  • Departure before 10:00 a.m.

For the accommodation Hooibergen, Klaverlodges, Woody’s, Basic Lodges and Chalets are the times as follow:

  • Arrival after 4:00 p.m.
  • Departure before 11:00 a.m.

For the accommodation Trekkershutten and Cotta are the times:

  • Arrival after 2:00 p.m.
  • Departure before 12:00 p.m.

4. Animation

When is the entertainment team at the campsite?

Almost all year round our enthusiastic entertainment team organizes activities! They are at the campsite the whole season, except from 12 April until 15 April and 19 April until 22 April 2021.

5. Terrain information

Are firepits allowed on the campsite?

No, firepits are not allowed on our campsite.

Are there cars allowed at the campsite?

There is one car allowed per camping pitch, which you can park next to your caravan at the camping field. The camping fields Fazant, Specht and Arend are car-free. This means that you can park your car near the field at a dedicated parking space with the number of your pitch. Furthermore, the accommodation have their parking spot next to the accommodation, except the Outdoor Living Lodges, Kasteel de Wolvenburcht, de Hooibergen, de Woody’s and de Boerderij. For these accommodation there are own parking spots nearby the accommodation.

Can I set up an extra tent at my camping pitch?

One extra tent with a maximum size of 4m2 is free and included in the price. Each extra tent or a tent with a size larger than 4m2 is €3,- per night. It is not allowed to set up an extra tent next to one of our accommodation.

Charge electric cars

Do you want to charge your electric car? You can do this in the parking lot in front of the reception. There is room for 4 cars here and we kindly ask you to move your vehicle when the battery is fully charged, so that other guests can also charge their cars.

How many ampere power connection does the camping pitches have?

All the camping pitches are provided with 8 Ampere power connection. It is possible to increase the power connection to 10 ampere for €2,- per night at the reception desk.

I brought two cars with me. Can I enter the campsite with both cars?

No, this is not possible. There is one car allowed per camping pitch. The second car must be parked at our central parking lot in the front of the campsite. The costs for a second car are €3,50 per day. Therefore, you need only to provide the number plate of the car that will be at the campsite during your stay. If another car brings or pick up your caravan, you can get a ticket for this at the reception. This card allows you for 30 minutes at the campsite.

I have reserved a comfort camping pitch; what does this mean?

A comfort camping pitch means that the pitch is provided with an 8-Ampère connection (higher Ampère optional), and own water hook-up and drain, and CAI (TV). The camping pitches have a size average of 80 m2 till 120 m2.

Is a camper allowed on the campsite?

Yes. You are very welcome with a camper at our campsite. All our camping pitches are very spacious and offer enough space for a camper.

Is it allowed to barbecue at the campsite?

Barbecuing is only allowed if the necessary precautions are taken as you use a safe barbecue, keep fire extinguishing equipment nearby and use firelighters. Firepits are not allowed at the campsite.

Is it allowed to put root cloth under our tent?

Yes. It is allowed to put root cloth under the tent of your caravan. It is only not allowed to put root cloth under the awning.

Is it allowed to put root cloth under the awning?

No. Root cloths and woven mats are not allowed under the awning.

I would like to take my dog with me during the holiday. Are there dogs allowed on the campsite?

Pets are only allowed at a limited part of the campsite, which includes the camping fields west of the entrance (except from Fazant 1 until 29 and 73 until 105). At each camping pitch are a maximum of 2 dogs allowed which need to be kept on a leash. Pets are prohibited in all our accommodation.

What is the size of my camping pitch?

All of our campsite pitches have a size average of 80 m2 till 120 m2. If you have a large caravan or camper you can inform about larger camping pitches at out reception desk.

What sort of material is allowed to put under my awning?

Grass-chocking materials such as plastic, root cloth or woven mats are not allowed under the awning. A perforated rubber mat is for example allowed under the awning. These mats are available in the camping supermarket.

6. General information

Are there cycling routes and walk trails starting from the campsite?

There are different routes and trails available at the reception desk. Please inform at the reception desk for more information.

Are there pets allowed in the accommodation?

No. In none of our accommodation are pets allowed.

Are there washing machines, dryers and centrifuges available at the campsite?

The campsite has two launderettes. There is one in the sanitary building Fazant and one at the left side next to the camping supermarket. At the reception desk you can buy the wash machine coins for €6,- each. The detergent will be automatically add to the washing machine. The dryers and centrifuges work by using €0,50 coins.

Can family or friends visit us during our stay?

Yes. Visitors are more than welcome at our campsite, but need to be registered at our reception desk. The costs related to the visit are €2,50 per person. If any visitor has complaints or symptoms of sickness related to Corona virus, please stay home.

Can I do some grocery shopping at the campsite?

There is a camping supermarket available at the campsite. The campsite supermarket offers a wide range of products, freshly baked rolls and pastries. You can find the opening hours in our App.

Can I have post or packages delivered at the campsite during my stay?

We want to avoid personal contact as much as possible related to the Corona virus. Because of this, you can pick up your post after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays until Saturday at the mailbox outside and next to the reception desk. Any packages that will be delivered at the reception desk, will be put in the grey box next to the reception desk. The delivery of packages and post is at your own risk and responsibility. If you would like to get something delivered at the campsite, we ask you friendly to mention your last name and campsite pitch or accommodation.

Does the campsite have facilities for disabled guests?

In our restaurant is a toilet specially for disabled guests. Furthermore, the sanitary buildings at camping fields Fazant and Koolmees have special toilets and showers for disabled guests. The sanitary rooms for disabled guest are only accessible with a key that can be obtained for a €5,- deposit at the reception desk.

I have seen that we can use the showers with a shower card. How does this work?

A shower card is needed to use the showers in de sanitary buildings. On arrival you will receive two shower cards worth €2,50 per card. These cards offer you about 20 minutes of hot water per card. You can insert these cards at the devices in the showers. From the moment you insert the card, the credit will start ticking off. Please pay attention to this! You can read at the display how much credit is remain on the shower card. When necessary, you can top up the shower card at the reception desk or at the entrance of each sanitary building. You can top up the shower card with any amount at the reception and at the entrance of the sanitary buildings only with €1,- or €2,- coins. In addition, you can get as many shower cards as you want. Please note: any remaining balance will not be returned.

Is it possible to leave our tent or caravan uninhabited at the campsite?

It is only possible in the early and late season, if the reserved camping pitch is available and stays available. The costs for a uninhabited night is €12,50 (without power connection). We request to secure your tent and/or awning correctly. Please inform at the reception desk if your camping pitch is available.

Is there a possibility to rent bicycles at the campsite?

Bicycles can be rented for one or more days at the reception desk. The costs for an adult bicycle with gears are €9,- a day and €36,- per week. The costs for a children’s bicycle is €8,- a day and €32,- per week. We have also child’s seat for rent for €1,50 a day. Furthermore, we have some electric bicycles that can be rented for €20,- per day. There is one electric cargo bike for renting with a price of €27,50 per day and some mountain bikes for €12,50 per day.

Is WiFi available at the campsite?

Yes, of course there is WiFi available at our entire campsite. Please note that we offer so called ‘campsite WiFi’. This means our network is not suitable for downloading movies or watching HD livestreams. But sharing your holiday pictures via WhatsApp or social media, or checking your e-mail is not a problem!

On arrival you will receive 1 WiFi voucher which is included in your stay. If you need more WiFi vouchers you are able to purchase these vouchers at the reception desk. This voucher contains a personal username, password and the number of days that the voucher van be used. The costs for the WiFi are €2,- per day, €4,- for 3 days and €7,- for 1 week. The vouchers can be used by one device. If you want to use the WiFi on multiple devices, you will need to purchase additional vouchers.

Someone would like to stay the night at the campsite during our stay. Is this allowed?

Guests are welcome and need to be registered at our reception desk. The costs for a sleep guest are €7,50 per person per night. The entrance to our swimming pool and indoor playground is inclusive.

When is the campsite open in 2021?

In the season of 2021 we are opened from 26 March till 31 October. In the period of 20 September till 8 October we are only open in the weekend from Friday until Sunday.

7. Facilities

I am not staying at the campsite, am I allowed to use the facilities?

This is only possible outside the holidays and high season. Daily visitors need to be registered at the reception desk. The costs for using the swimming pools or the indoor playground is €5,- per person. If you want to use the swimming pools and the indoor playground, the costs are €7,50 per person.

I am staying with a camper, am I able to use the same facilities as the other campsite guests?

Yes! Our guests with a camper are allowed to use the same facilities as all our other guests.

I have already checked-out, can I still use the facilities at the campsite?

Yes. This is possible. You need to park your car and caravan or camper at our central parking lot in front of the campsite. If the parking lot is full, you can inform by our reception desk where you are able to park.

Is the reception desk open daily?

In the high season the reception desk is open daily from 8:30 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. The reception desk is in the early and late season 7 days a week open from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. In November and December there are limited opening hours.

I would like to do my laundry during my stay at the campsite. Is this possible?

Yes this is possible! We have two launderettes at the campsite; one in the sanitary building Fazant and one at the left side next to the camping supermarket. At the reception desk you can buy the wash machine coins for €6,- each. The detergent will be automatically add to the washing machine. The dryers and centrifuges work by using €0,50 coins.

8. Cancel

Cancellation accommodation

It is unfortunately not possible to book a cancellation fund via our campsite for the accommodation. You can book the cancellation fund somewhere else, for example via recreatieverzekeringen.nl

I have a reserved a camping pitch, but I want to cancel this reservation. Is this possible?

When you have booked a cancellation fund via our campsite, the reservation can be cancelled with a official statement. This can be for example a letter from your doctor. If you have not booked a cancellation fund with your reservation, the terms and conditions of RECRON will apply. The applicable percentages will then be charges by cancellation of your reservation. This means, the shorter you cancel your reservation before your arrival date, the higher the percentage of costs will be.

Why is it recommended to book a cancellation fund by your reservation?

It is recommended to book a cancellation fund via our campsite or via another company. The cancellation fund that can be booked via our campsite costs 5% of the total price of the reservation.
If you book the cancellation fund via our campsite, it indemnifies guests against the costs arising from the following situations in combination with an official statement:

  • Death, sudden illness or accident of the main person or one of the participants;
  • In the event of early termination of your holiday due to the death of a family member in the first degree of the main person or one of the participants;
  • ​Forced relocation of the main person due to medical cause, renovation or change of employment;
  • Involuntary unemployment of the main person.

Are you forced to terminate your holiday? The moment of cancellation is the moment when your camping pitch is empty.
